About the event

The Essential Manager – Help! I’m a manager!

2 day programme (delivered 1 day per month)

This fast-paced programme will provide a solid foundation for people managers who are either new to the role, or who have had no formal learning and development since taking on a management position. The two modules are delivered with a 1 month break in between, allowing you to practice your skills, reflect on your learning and return to day two with any questions or queries.

You will focus on practical, useful tools and concepts so that you will be able to start using your new skills immediately upon return to the workplace.

At the end of day one, you’ll set yourself some practical actions, that you’ll work your way through during the month. You’ll be given a learning diary to complete to capture what you’re doing differently.

We’ll review your progress and the impact of the changes you’ve made at the start of day two, giving you the chance to share your experiences, get support from other managers and discuss the different approaches that you have been using. You’ll also have the chance to ask for feedback from your Peopletopia expert.
